Welcome to The Livermore.  The historic Livermore in downtown Aledo is a perfect setting for business meetings, rehearsal dinners, family celebrations, holiday gatherings, baby and bridal showers, and class reunions.  We see The Livermore as a destination and celebration location and look forward to working with you on your special event.

The Mercer room options for groups of up to 50 guests Private and Non-Private events We have a banquet room, known as The Mercer Room, which can comfortably seat 50 guests for lunch or dinner.

Non-Private Events- A "Non-Private" event means we cannot guarentee that you will be in The Mercer Room privately.  However, we will seat The Mercer Room last and fill it only as necessary.  There is no minimum spending requirement for a non-private party, as long as your group is eating lunch or dinner.  If you prefer to have The Mercer Room privately see the "Private Party" information below.

Private Events- If your group would like the option of having The Mercer Room privately, there is a minimum spending requirement of $1000 plus tax and 18% gratuity for the room.  The $1000 spending requirement is for our peak days of Friday and Saturday.  On non-peak days of Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday our spending requirement for a private party is $500 plus tax and 18% gratuity.  The requirement is achieved through food and drink sales, it is not a room charge.  Once you have booked the room privately, a deposit of $250 is required thirty days in advance of the event to hold the room.  The deposit will be applied to your final bill.

The Livermore Menu Options for Groups

The first dining option for groups is the "from our menu" approach using our standard lunch or dinner menu.  Billing is base on our standard pricing.  Please see our current menu for items and prices.  The "from our menu" approach works best for a maximum group size 20.

The second option, particularily well suited for a large group, is "event style" service.  The event coordinator will assist you in selecting a menu.

Options for Non-Dining Events & The Mercer Room:

Do you need a nice room for a meeting.  The Mercer Room is available for non-dining engagements from 9:00-11:00am & 2:30-4:30pm each day.  During these times the room can be rented for $50 per hour.  Should you wish to have refreshments while renting the room there will be a per person charge for the drinks in addition to the rental amount.

Food and Drink Guidelines:

Because we are in the business of providing outstanding food and beverages, we ask that no outside food or drink be brought into The Livermore.  We will make an exception for a cake brought in for a special occasion.

Changing Numbers of Guests Attending:

If after booking your group event for a certain number of people, you find your number has decreased you must give The Livermore one week notice or you will be billed for the original number of guests you booked.

Cancellation Policy:

Cancellations for events must be provided at least fourteen days prior to the event.  If fourteen days or more notice is received, the room deposit will be refunded.  The $250 deposit cannot be refunded for any event cancelled in less than fourteen days prior to the date of your scheduled event.
